According to Italian outlets Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport saying it’s a ‘question of hours’ before Pogba joins United and that the deal is imminent, there are only formalities left to be completed to make the transfer of the Frenchman to his former club happen.
Hours after Corriere dello Sport and Gazzetta dello Sport, another Italian outlet La Stampa has joined in to their voices and has claimed that Pogba will join MUFC for €115m. €100m to Juventus & €15m to Raiola. The clubs now only need to agree a payment structure and that Juventus to get in touch with Ed Woodward today or tomorrow to agree a payment structure & formalize Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United.
Spanish journalist Vincent Rodriguez has also joined in and tweeted “Man United and Juventus have reached an agreement which includes Raiola’s money. Finalising the payment structure, announcement soon.”
Also one of the most trusted and reliable journalist Gialunca Di Marzio tweeted yesterday that “Marotta met Raiola today afternoon to discuss Pogba, once the finer details are defined it seems player is bound to leave Turin and the results of the meeting between Marotta and Raiola have not been learned yet as several small details remain for the transfer of Pogba. Marotta’s purpose of the meeting was to try and resolve the points.”
Even though there were contradictory reports in Spanish media, and AS yesterday reported that Pogba’s medical which was scheduled to take place in Miami has been cancelled by his agent Mino Raiola and that the deal hangs over the Knife’s edge.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane also confronted the media regarding Paul Pogba and said that Zidane: “I always say how things are, but now is not the time to talk about this. A lot of clubs are interested in Pogba. Real Madrid always wants the best players. But we owe Juventus respect, and I can’t say anything more out of respect.”
But as of the reports today in the Italian media the deal looks very imminent now and is just as matter of hours.
