Preity Zinta asked by a fan to exclude this STAR player from KXIP in IPL 14

It seems that the KXIP fans are clearly not impressed with this star player owing to his display in the field in the last edition.

There are not many days left for the upcoming edition of IPL to kick start and we cannot be less excited to watch our favorite star players in action. The performances in the recently completed edition are clearly etched in our memories as there is not much gap between the editions.

However, a fan has expressed his disappointment over the performance of this Australian star batsman owing to his abysmal performance in IPL 13 during an Instagram live chat session conducted by Preity Zinta.

The KXIP owner had scheduled an Insta live chat session with the skipper, KL Rahul recently. Kl Rahul was late to the show around 09 minutes to which she jokingly commented that it’s rightly acclaimed that the results of waiting for someone for long are indeed sweet.

The fun-filled conversations between the duo threw light on several topics including their personal and professional lives. However, one of the fan’s humorous comments during the chat session sparked attention amongst all.

A fan takes a Hilarious dig at Glenn Maxwell

KXIP owner Preity is reported to have spent a lavish sum of 10.75 crores on the Australian star batsman, Glenn Maxwell. Fans had much awaited to see him blast off in his unique style which sadly could not happen. The Australian star failed to impress with his bat right from the beginning till the end of the season that did not go down well with the fans.

Maxwell bagged just 108 runs in the entire tournament at an abysmal average of 15.43. His performance also led Punjab to lose several close encounters and his continued inclusion in every match despite such a show was also questioned. One of the fans hence did not lose the opportunity to crash the chat show of Preity by posting a humorous comment which read:- “Maxiii ko hatao”.

KXIP team emerged stronger than ever in IPL13 where all its players put up a brilliant performance to shock the opposition parties. Although KXIP made a few comebacks in the season but it failed to make it to the playoffs, finishing its venture in the sixth spot.

Maxwell’s continued disappointing performance was considered a prominent factor for Kings XI Punjab’s fate by the cricketing world as well. The fan hence posted such a humorous comment during the session.

Rahul was all praises in the chat show for the hitman, Rohit Sharma who is currently playing the test matches in Australia. Rahul has been ruled out of the Australian series owing to a wrist injury. The skipper had an impressive Ipl outing on the other hand bagging the orange cap as well.

KL Rahul spoke about meeting friends and family after six months. Rahul and Zinta talked about the upcoming season and things they can’t reveal as the auction of IPL 14 is coming-up. They also joked about inside jokes with-in the squad.

KL Rahul did mention about being captain first-time for Kings XI Punjab. Ranveer Singh and Dinesh Karthik was seen commenting on live session.

It would be highly interesting to watch what changes both the KXIP franchise and the team management bring in place in the upcoming season to consolidate the team combination.
