Input From The Chiefs
Commenting on the agreement with the ISL, Richards Masters said, we have been working mutually for six years. The PL as an established league is helping ISL. Which seems to be growing swiftly. Events like these are really significant. For the next three years, we are going to be focusing on young players. Youth development is the route to success. And also the advancement of coaching and refereeing. We will do all we can to support the ISL. But it appears to be going pretty well under by its means. It’s an incredible experience for our players to come to an incredible facility like this. I am happy to be here.
Nita Ambani also expressed her joy. After signing the consequential deal. She said ISL has forever believed in grassroots development. At Reliance Foundation, we are after the pyramid structure. Of improving football at the base level. This year we began with 6-12 age group children’s league. Then in the midst, we have youth sports. And then on top of that occupies the young champs. I think the journey is very essential. We develop talent at the young level. This partnership will really benefit us. In producing ISL’s grassroots programme and the youth programme.
Mrs.Ambani also suggested that they will seek to host the Premier League Asia Cup U23 in India.
She said we have requested Richard if the PL Asia Cup U23 can be held in India. Because it will be a huge boost for Indian football.
