Premier League club refusing to sell this player to Chelsea!

The Premier League club is not willing to sell their star man to Chelsea.

It’s an open secret that Chelsea are lacking in attacking third. Chelsea have scored the least number of goals in top 5. Sarri wants to bring a goal scoring striker. After the stalemate draw against Southampton, it seems Sarri desperately want a striker in the January transfer window. It seems Bournemouth are not willing to this player to Chelsea.

Chelsea have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Callum Wilson. Bournemouth do not want to sell the striker despite signing Dominic Solanke, reports say. Bournemouth have always been reluctant to sell their star forward and Chelsea’s willingness to pay upwards of £25millon for Wilson has not changed their mind. The signing of Solanke from Liverpool was thought to be in preparation for Wilson’s exit.

However, the new addition has not altered Bournemouth’s position after the Cherries let Jermain Defoe join Rangers on Sunday. The Mirror claim Bournemouth would be left a little light in the striker department if they let Wilson exit. It’s because Solanke arrives from Liverpool nursing a hamstring injury and cannot play until February.

The F.A Cup champions are on the hunt for a goalscorer to ease the pressure on Eden Hazard and provide competition for the inconsistent Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud. Wilson has been tracked since the end of last year after the Englishman’s nine goals and six assists this season in the Premier League. The Blues fans will be hoping for a more established name to arrive at Stamford Bridge this month.

AC Milan’s Gonzalo Higuain has been heavily linked with the Blues. Higuain has worked with Maurizio Sarri during his record-breaking goalscoring season at Napoli. Sarri has asked for extra firepower this month. He has made a public plea to the Chelsea board after his team started the year with a disappointing draw with Southampton.

Author’s Take:

It seems Chelsea are not able to find a striker to sign. Many clubs are unwilling to do business at this point of the season and it seems no club wants to sell their striker. The only option Chelsea have at this moment is to recall the strikers Tammy Abraham or Mitchy Batashuayi. Both these strikers have scored goals and could ease the goalscoring burden from Eden Hazard.
