Premier League Predictions by Charlie Nicholas.

The football expert, Charlie Nicholas is back with his predictions for this game week of the English Premier League.

Game week 7 is upon us and it has got some quite interesting features. Arsenal faces the Reds of Manchester, while the defending champions, Manchester City play against Everton. Here are the predictions, as brought to you by Charlie Nicholas.

Sheffield United vs Liverpool – Saturday

Liverpool is coming through these games without playing shrewdly. The Sheffield United team we have seen the other week at Everton was impressive with the energy and velocity they play at. They do strive for goals though. It has been quite a task up for Oli McBurnie. He works hard and grafts, but you are looking for a goal return here. The finishing is lacking. The Blades are well disciplined and organized – when we saw them at the Goodison Park, their two wing-backs were attacking up. We even saw the center-half in the box. They did not look like they were going to get exposed on the counter-attack either. The prediction is Sheffield 1-3 Liverpool.

Crystal Palace vs Norwich – Saturday

Norwich is a good side, with goals in them, but their main problems are at the back. There is an atmosphere of unpredictability about them. Crystal Palace does not score a lot of goals. Although, they should have notched it last week against Wolves. It is already time for Wilfried Zaha to get going and get his claw out. Gary Cahill has raised them but they do not have the racers or bodies through midfield. Roy Hodgson’s side should still have sufficient to come away from this one with three points. Score prediction is 1-0 to Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa vs Burnley – Saturday

This would be a great game but hard to call. Aston Villa should have got something from the Emirates but are too unprotected at the back. When they go in front, they have Jack Grealish and John McGinn additionally forward. McGinn is great for his energy and enthusiasm. Also, everything is done at a great pace. Unfortunately, when it’s not working, he should play a bit deeper for 15 minutes or so and let Grealish stay further advancing. The score prediction is a 1-1 draw.null
