As the transfer season is in full swing, we at The Twelfth Man are here to look at few of today’s transfer rumours in regards to the Premier League.
1. Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich
Let’s begin with the champions, Manchester City. One of the impressive wingers is supposedly swapping England for Germany. When people talk about Manchester City’s attack, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling and David Silva are the few who come to mind. But little to do they realise that Leroy Sane is one of the best attackers in Europe. His output during the past couple of years has been virtually unmatched in the Premier League.
This season he hasn’t been afforded enough minute by Pep Guardiola which has sparked interest from Bayern Munich. The Bavarians are willing to pay through the roof for the German youngster, who can excel in the Bundesliga. “He would be the successor of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery which is very interesting. As a player, this would be a good incentive I think, “ said, Bayern Chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Rating – 7/10
Sane would be a great fit for Bayern Munch. He is young, fast and above all supremely talented. While Gnabry is yet to hit his peak and Coman struggles with injuries, the 23-year-old can fill the void left by the departing Robben and Ribery. Given how the pair faded out in the closing stages of their Bayern careers, Sane would be an upgrade for the current holders of the Meisterschale.
