Premier League clubs are aiming to get some top talents in the football world. This, however, isn’t going to be easy as few club offers have already been rejected, while some are too hot to handle.
January doesn’t only mark a beginning of New year it also marks the beginning of some exciting football news as transfer windows open and the top managers in football try hard to strengthen their squad. On the one hand, some clubs have not yet been able to decide which players to buy, there are clubs who already are disappointed with their offers rejected.
Chelsea In A Race to Beat Arsenal
According to news published by a popular sports magazine, Chelsea is aiming to get hold of Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez much before their North London rivals Arsenal decide to make their move.
Chelsea who has sufficient funds to proceed with this transfer can easily meet the 21 million pound transfer value which Wolfsburg demand. This player has gained much attention from Arsenal as well. With Arsene Wenger looking for someone to step into Kieran Gibbs shoe this player might just be a perfect match for him.
However, unlike Chelsea, Arsenal would require offloading Gibbs only after which they can proceed for transfer. This sure does offer a great advantage to Chelsea as they are ready to go forward with this deal straight away.
“We have not received one single offer that we are going to accept,” Mourinho said. “I don’t want to sell players. The club and the board are totally with me but, if a player is not having lots of minutes and wants to leave, we have no right to stop him if the conditions are our conditions.”
Manchester United Not Going Forward With Cut-Price-Transfer
One the other hand Manchester United have recently rejected a 19 million pounds offer by Everton for midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. They are in no mood to sell this player for less than 28 million pounds, the amount which they paid to bring this player in the first place.
They are acting stern on their decision, and Mourinho has come forward claiming that there is no offer present which they can seriously consider. In his recent statement regarding the offer from Everton the manager said, ““We have not received one single offer that we are going to accept,” Mourinho said. “I don’t want to sell players. The club and the board are totally with me but, if a player is not having lots of minutes and wants to leave, we have no right to stop him if the conditions are our conditions.”

Liverpool Not Signing Hart This Summer
Joe Hart the Manchester City keeper who is on loan to Torino might see his dreams of playing in Premier League die down, as Liverpool are not planning to sign this keeper this January.
Liverpool although have a fluctuating situation regarding their goalkeeping. However, they are acting smart by not signing this Manchester City keeper, who would sit on sidelines for the rest of this season, provided a keeper can only play for two clubs in a single season.
While the clubs bid and battle at the transfer window, it would surely be interesting to see which club emerges the strongest for next season.
