Prithvi Shaw Is One Player I Want To See In Indian Jersey Soon, Says Virender Sehwag
The selectors didn’t consider him for New Zealand cricket team and Bangladesh cricket team tours. In fact, Shaw has been playing pretty well in the domestic cricket and maintained a batting average of over 50.
Despite doing well, he failed to get into the team. Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag spoke about Prithvi Shaw of late.
While speaking to Cricbuzz, Sehwag added that Prithvi Shaw is one player he wants to see in the Indian jersey soon.
“I wanted to see Prithvi Shaw in New Zealand. He is not in T20I or ODI squad. There’s a 2023 World Cup, so I think he might come back,” Sehwag added.
“He plays in the top order and his strike is around 150, which is suitable for the T20 format. He could have gone as an extra player,” the former Indian cricketer added.
