PSG Begins Initial Talks With Joao Felix

Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix has been linked with a move to PSG. Felix is one of the most talented attackers of his generation.

He joined the Spanish outfit from Benfica in the summer window of 2019. The Portugal international has played 128 games (in all competitions) for the Colchoneros so far, registering 32 goals and 18 assists. Felix won the LaLiga Player of the Month accolade twice and was also included in the LaLiga Team of the Season twice.

According to Spanish outfit Revelo (via Sportskeeda), PSG have started initial talks to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix. He has seemingly fallen out of favour with manager Diego Simeone and has not started a league game since Atletico’s 2-1 defeat against rivals Real Madrid last in September.

Felix could look to move away from the Metropolitano Stadium at the end of the current season. The Paris outfit are monitoring his situation due to Kylian Mbappe’s future at the club. Mbappe reportedly wants to leave PSG in the January transfer window.

Idrissa Gueye opens up on leaving Paris

Midfielder Idrissa Gueye left PSG to join his former club Everton during the summer transfer. While speaking to the media recently, he opened up on his decision to leave the Paris outfit.

Gueye said(via PSG Talk): “There were other opportunities, but I told my agent to refuse them all. I had a good time at PSG. It wasn’t in my plans to come back, but as soon as Everton called me and said they needed me and wanted me to help … I couldn’t say no.”
