As the winter transfer window appears closer, clubs work hard in order to get their targets. The La Liga giants are desperate to add a striker and a midfield player. They already have secured a loan deal for Murillo and want a replacement of Suarez by the end of January. It seems PSG have hit out at Barcelona over transfer of this player.
Paris Saint-Germain have slammed Barcelona over their approach for Adrien Rabiot in the summer. With the French midfielder set to leave PSG at the end of the season, Barcelona are the favourites to sign him. According to the Ligue 1 leaders, they already dismissed a bid from Spain at the end of August.
PSG sporting director Antero Henrique said, “It always surprises us that clubs don’t follow the rules.” The Portuguese was responding after Rabiot’s mother and agent, Veronique, said he could have joined Barcelona months ago. He further added, “She said that we received an offer this summer and that’s true. We received it on August 29th at 8pm, just before the window closed. That’s telling, it shows that Barcelona had reached an agreement with Rabiot before coming to speak to us.”
Henrique further hit out at the Catalan giants over their unprofessionalism. He said, “The proposal from Barcelona was ridiculous. The club was very surprised that the offer was so low. It was a disrespectful proposal for a player of the top level like Rabiot. I insist, it is not possible to arrive at an agreement for a player like him in 24 hours. That’s why it is clear that they already had an agreement.” Rabiot, 23, has started just three times for PSG in the last two months and is out of contract at the end of the season.

Rabiot has been on Barcelona’s radar for months due to his youth, quality and experience. If he signs for Barcelona, then Rabiot could play a key role in the Barcelona’s engine room for the best part of the next decade.
