Dean Saunders has claimed that once-fierce rivals Manchester United and Arsenal will not finish in the top four of the Premier League this season
Manchester United are trailing league leaders Manchester City by nine points heading into their derby on Sunday night. Jose Mourinho’s side had a horrendously bad start to the season, but the Red Devils have addressed that issue to an extent with victory in their last three games in all competitions. Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, meanwhile, are all unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season.
Arsenal and Tottenham, meanwhile, have also impressed and seem set to to make a serious push for a top four spot. Among all this, pundit Saunders has made his top four prediction, saying that United and Arsenal will miss out on Champions League football. He told BT Sport: “Chelsea are doing better than we thought, Arsenal are too. It’s hard to go against Man City. Liverpool have got a chance if things go wrong at City. It’s going to be tight but I’d think Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs.”
