Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina was the subject of discussion in the last two months. He was in the headlines when he backed out of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League due to personal reasons.
The highest run-scorer for Chennai Super Kings has a regular feature for the team. He has been one of the pillars of the franchise as he scores run on a consistent basis. In the recently-concluded IPL, CSK missed Raina’s services.
The three-time IPL champions failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in their history. The elegant southpaw helped his team qualify in all his participating seasons at the yellow army during his heydays.
Apart from Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh was also ruled out of the tournament citing personal reasons. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings have removed their names from its official website.

The Kapil Sharma Show
The former Indian cricketer turned up for the famous TV show along with his wife Priyanka Raina. The southpaw was invited as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show with Priyanka. Raina had to reply to unexpected and tricky questions.
Talking about the basic concept of the show, the host of the show, Kapil Sharma puts forward some tricky and controversial questions for his guests and leaves them in a puzzled state.
But this time around, actress Archana Singh tried to trick Raina with a tough question. Just like absorbing pressure in intense situations on the pitch, Raina played it smartly. Yes, the cricketer answered the questions as cool as a cucumber.
During the show, Raina was asked to reveal the name of the player who gets distracted the most by cheerleaders. Though the Indian actress delivered a lethal beamer, Raina ducked the question by answering it in the best way.
Smart reply by Raina
The ex-Indian cricketer made it clear that cheerleaders dance only for the audience and not for the cricketers. The players don’t ven get time or a chance to see them while they are quite busy concentrating on the game.
Raina added that cricketers don’t see the cheerleaders in person. Players see them only on the large screen and that too for a few seconds. He further added saying that cheerleaders don’t turn up earlier than the cricketers. They come to the stadium at 07:30 pm.
“They are for the viewers. We can’t see them as we have to focus on the match and we get to see them on TV when they dance to our sixes and fours. We get to see a bit of their performance when we go for the toss.
They too arrive at 07:30 pm,” said the veteran player. Recent reports suggest that BCCI will host the upcoming auction in India. Raina was released by CSK earlier. The big player will be looking forward to playing the next IPL.
