Rajasthan Royals indulges in a funny banter with Tinder

Rajasthan Royals kick-started their IPL 2020 campaign on a glorious note. They chipped in with superb wins against the likes of Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab. They beat CSK by 16 runs in the first match. After that, they defeated KXIP by 4 wickets.

Just as when things were moving smoothly for the Steve Smith-led team, they started losing momentum from the third game onwards. Their 37-run-defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders exposed their frailties and after which they started losing game by game.

The inaugural IPL champions lost four games in a row. However, they eventually managed to rise to the occasion against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Steve Smith-led Rajasthan Royals got the better of David Warner’s SRH by 5 wickets in a thriller encounter.

Then again, the Royals failed to capitalize on the chances in the next two fixtures. In fact, they were far from being impressive in the next two games in the United Arab Emirates. They lost to table-toppers Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RR engages in amusing banter with Tinder

In the ongoing edition of the IPL, the franchises of the respective teams are quite active on social media platforms, especially on Twitter. The social media handles of all eight teams are doing their maximum best to entertain the fans in the form of banters.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals Twitter handles indulged in a cool banter with the dating app, Tinder. Yes, you read it right. Tinder India dropped a hilarious tweet that took everyone by surprise. The social media handle asked if Royal’s page admin is ‘single’.

Tinder India Twitter handle wrote, “Is the @rajasthanroyals admin single? Kaafi funny hai.”.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals came up with a hilarious response. “In a complicated relationship with Sharjah,” Rajasthan Royals Twitter admin wrote.

What’s next for Rajasthan Royals?

Rajasthan Royals find themselves in troubled waters at the moment. They are placed seventh in the points table with just 3 wins and 6 defeats. Steve Smith’s side still has a lot of catching up to do to remain in contention to qualify for the playoffs.

Any setback from now on might as well put an end to their campaign in the United Arab Emirates.

They will lock horns with Chennai Super Kings at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi tomorrow. Meanwhile, the sixth-placed CSK have a similar equation.

MS Dhoni’s side lost to Delhi Capitals in Sharjah. Just like Rajasthan Royals, even Chennai Super Kings are searching for a desperate victory. It will be quite interesting to see which team gets the better of the other in the must-win encounter.
