Sakibul Gani came out to bat and the rest is history. He formed a magnificent 538-run partnership with Babul Kumar. As a result, he went on to register his triple ton on the second day of the game.
With this, the talented youngster became the first player in the history of cricket to score a triple century on his first-class debut. The manner in which he approached the innings was commendable.
The right-handed batsman scored runs at a strike rate of 84.20 where he scored 341 runs off only 405 balls in Kolkata. He constructed his innings with the help of 56 fours and 2 sixes.
Talking about the game, Bihar has posted a staggering 686 for the loss of 5 wickets and then declared the innings. While Sakibul Gani scored 341, Babul Kumar scored 229 runs to his name. Bipin Saurabh also batted well as he scored 50 off 39 balls including 4 fours and 3 sixes.
On the other hand, the Mizoram cricket players find themselves in a worrisome situation. They already lost three wickets in the first innings. Mizoram is stuttering at 40/3 in 18 overs. They have a mountain to climb as they are trailing by 646 runs.
