Real Madrid and Florentino Perez never fail to come out of the blue and surprise the footballing world in a flash. Apparently, they are ready to do it again having agreed to sign four players in the winter.
Real Madrid have done little to replace Cristiano Ronaldo since the 33-year-old’s departure in the summer, but the Whites are already planning for their future and have already gone miles ahead of other fellow clubs in that matter having secured the signings of some world class talents in the last few years.
However, Florentino Perez is not done just yet and will be investing on four more players in the January transfer window as per sources. The 71-year-old will keep nearly 100 million euros as per my guess to secure the team’s upcoming seasons and will sign players who are all from Spain or close by.
Players and characteristic description
The first name is that of Mario Hermoso. The Espanyol central defender was a graduate of Real Madrid’s La Fabrica and then went to Catalonia seeking for more playing time. But given his recent displays and call up into the Spain squad, the defending European champions may exercise their buyback clause in January.
Alfonso Pedraza from Villarreal is another player that has been kept tabs on. The 22 year old has been very productive with the club based out of Castellon. He can play as a left winger as well as a left back and as bonus. Pedraza is excellent in both the spots. His versatility is eye-catching and that makes him a priority for the Whites.
Brahim Diaz of Manchester City is another bright prospect who is being monitored at the moment. The attacking midfielder is expected to be successful at the Etihad Stadium so long that Pep Guardiola is there. His dynamic approach to the game is just brilliant and that makes him an ideal player for the Whites’ attacking setup.
Dani Olmo is the one who closes the wish list. The youngster is on the books of Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia right now and is playing almost regularly for them. He is a graduate of Barcelona’s academy and plays as a left winger. Having featured in all of Spain’s ranks, it is inevitable that he will get an offer from Real Madrid thanks to his quality. But the question is- when?
