Real Madrid and Barcelona set to battle it out for record-breaking Premier League ace

The Spanish giants are ready to fight for the most-wanted Premier League star. The ace winger is expected to leave his Premier League club sooner or later. Real Madrid becomes the latest club to show interest in signing the forward.

Both Barcelona and Madrid are having a poor run this season amidst some additions this summer. While Catalan giants are having financial troubles as well this term. As per the latest reports in Spain, the club might sell their record signing Philipe Coutinho in January.

By selling the Brazilian attacker, Barcelona might become a bit free from the financial worries that they are going through. However, they do need a replacement for the attacking midfielder, who had a loan stint to remember with Bayern Munich last season.

Barca remains under financial pressure despite deferrals and are aiming to shift high earner Coutinho by January 24, Sport has reported. Apart from these issues, Catalans were not happy with their former President Bartomeu as well. However, the Spaniard is not the president of FC Barcelona anymore.

Both Ronald Koeman and Zinedine Zidane are having a tough season till now in La Liga and Champions League as well. Real Madrid

was about to be sent to the Europa League following their poor display in the Champions League group stages. However, Real Madrid got easier opponents in comparison with their rivals.

Zidane’s side will face Seria A club Atalanta and Barcelona will play against Premier League side Manchester City. However, that didn’t happen but Pep Guardiola will be keen to achieve the Champions League title with City, which keeps missing out.

The La Liga clubs are now looking to sign some big name in the market to get back to winning ways. While, both clubs have made the same player as their top priority, who might leave his club next summer.

According to El Desmarque, Clasico giants are keen to land Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah next summer. Madrid and Barca are in need of a versatile forward like Salah, who can change fortunes for the club. The 28-year-old has been fantastic for Liverpool in the past few years.

Former Chelsea winger revealed in a recent interview that, he is open to a move to Spain. The Egypt international has won almost everything in Anfield with Liverpool except for FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Salah would be a perfect fit for both Spanish clubs, who are keen on his services.

Real Madrid are looking to revamp their side and land in some big names. Salah could be one of those, who can settle into the side quickly. The Los Blancos have been in search of a perfect right-winger after Bale’s exit. Liverpool Star might be the one for Zidane on the right flank.

Potential replacement for Messi at Camp Nou?

Argentian forward Lionel Messi is likely to leave Barcelona next summer. The Catalan club will require a multidimensional attacking player to replace Messi at Camp Nou. Salah would fit the bill considering the number of goals and assists he has provided for Liverpool.

Salah is once again the top scorer for Liverpool this season until now. He has 13 premier league goals in 13 appearances this season so far. He also has three assists to his name this term. The Egyptian has improved his goal-scoring abilities under Klopp and always appears to be a threat in front of goal.

Jurgen Klopp recently signed Portuguese forward Diogo Jota from Wolves in the summer. Jota has started his career at Liverpool in fine fashion. The lad has already impressed Klopp and appearing to threaten Firmino’s place in the starting eleven. However, Jota could well be Klopp’s long-term replacement for Salah at Liverpool.
