Los Blancos manager Santiago Solari made public that he has no input in the club’s transfer dealings when asked about Isco’s future, but that has not stopped the club from almost finalising a raft of deals

The Real Madrid boss said the same in order to distance himself from the speculation surrounding Isco’s future. Solari instead insisted that his job is to just train the squad and select the team on matchdays. “It is not up to me to explain the transfer policy, I am just the coach,” he said.

Christian Eriksen (from Tottenham)

Spanish football expert Graham Hunter has claimed that Eriksen will be the “perfect signing” for Madrid, which makes him one of their “highest priorities”. “It is absolutely crystal clear that one of Real Madrid’s highest priorities this summer will be to try and sign Christian Eriksen,” Hunter told the Transfer Talk podcast.
Sky Sports has also reported that a deal for the Tottenham ace may be pre-poned to January if Luka Modric leaves in January. Spanish publication AS had also earlier this month reported that Real had make an enquiry about the 26-year-old, with a price of £220 million (€250m) being quoted for the Danish midfielder.
