Former ‘Real Madrid’ director of football Predrag Mijatovic has confessed that the fans would love to see the arrival of the former Barcelona star at the Bernabeu.
Neymar left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fees of £198 Million in August. The Brazilian was once a part of the world’s deadliest attacking trio, along with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. His decision to leave Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain raised many eyebrows. But Mijatovic said he would love to see at the Bernabeu.
When asked if the Brazilian and star man Cristiano Ronaldo are compatible together, the former Real Madrid star said that he sees no reason why Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo cannot rule together at the Santiago Bernabeu as he heaped praise on the Brazilian.

There were some reports suggesting that the Portuguese star could move in the opposite direction but Mijatovic believes Neymar can prosper along with Ronaldo in the same way as he did with Lionel Messi at the Camp Nou. Mijatovic admitted that the Brazilian would be a welcome addition to Santiago Bernabeu, with an ideal scenario seeing him paired with Ronaldo in a fearsome attacking unit.
The 1998 Champions League winner, said Marca: “Neymar is a player that I love, he has magic and he will make many Real Madrid fans very happy. If there is a possibility of signing him, I would say yes, but I don’t know if it’s possible.”
“If Neymar was able to get on well with Lionel Messi, then there’s no reason he couldn’t get on well with Ronaldo.”
Ronaldo has struggled domestically this season, after having scored just four goals in 18 matches for the Los Blancos. However, the Portuguese have fared considerably better in the Champions League after having scored nine goals in the competition so far. The Portuguese has been linked with a move to his former club Manchester United. Seeing all this Mijatovic said that maybe the Portuguese star is more motivated by the Champions League.

He said: “These things must be talked about and if he [Ronaldo] is not happy then he has to say so. I don’t see Ronaldo as being sad in the Champions League, but I do see it in La Liga. That has nothing to do with his wages. Maybe he’s just more motivated by the Champions League.”
The Brazilian is a kind of player that can surely put an end to Real Madrid’s struggles this season. The Brazilian starlet is in his prime, he is both young and experienced, and has already won a lot and can even win more. He can be termed as a match-deciding element who can raise the level of his team with his qualities.
He even recently proved himself as a match-deciding element as he netted four goals in Paris Saint-Germain’s victory over Dijon.
