Real Madrid News: Barcelona humbled Real Madrid to a surprise 4-0 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu. Following the demolition Los Blancos manager, Carlo Ancelotti accepted the blame for his team’s horrific display!

A lot was expected from Los Blancos as they lined up in a special black home kit against the Blaugrana. But Xavi Hernandez had set up a perfect game plan against his biggest rivals and his players didn’t disappoint as they delivered on the field.

Barcelona dominated the game in the early stages before Aubameyang found the breakthrough in the 29th minute. Their lead was quickly doubled as Ronald Araujo added a second in the 38th minute. Ousmane Dembele provided the assist for both these goals.

The Blaugrana would end any hopes of a Real Madrid comeback by adding a third in the 47th minute through Ferran Torres. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed the scoring just minutes later as Barcelona walked out 4-0 winners.

As per The Daily Mail, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti took the blame for Los Blancos’ woeful performance on the night. The Italian tactician refused to make any excuses for the loss.

Carlo Ancelotti accepted the blame for the loss as he agreed that a Clasico defeat like this would surely hurt the fans. The loss was Real Madrid’s third defeat in LaLiga this season.

Talking about his team’s performance, the Real Madrid manager said, “We were unrecognizable, everything went wrong, we have to forget that and move forward, we have a big lead in La Liga. I, the coach, am at fault.”

Los Blancos lined up for the El Clasico without their chief marksman Karim Benzema. The Frenchman was unavailable due to a calf injury. This did hurt Real Madrid as Benzema had scored in his last five games in all competitions.

Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez got his tactics spot on in the El Clasico. The last time Barcelona beat Real Madrid was in March 2019. Hence this victory would certainly bring peace to the hearts of the Blaugrana faithful.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid is still 9-points clear at the top of the LaLiga table. Los Blancos have 66 points from 29 games. Hence they should pick up the LaLiga title at the end of the season unless something really unfortunate happens!
