The Los Blancos captain Sergio Ramos reportedly knows that Real Madrid is planning a €120 million move for Marcos Alonso and Thiago Alcantara.
With the transfer window coming close to an end, Real Madrid is looking to do some last-gasp business by adding re-enforcements to their squad. The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from the Spanish capital to Juventus last month meant that Real Madrid will have to replace the Portuguese talisman with some quality additions this summer.
Even Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has urged that the club swoop in for two Spanish starlets in the form of Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara and Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso and a reported €120 million bid is lined up in the making.
Real Madrid is in desperate need of a left-back who can fill in for Marcelo if the Brazilian gets injured and Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso has been one of the top priorities for the European champions. Having already lured in Belgian shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois from Stamford Bridge, Real Madrid are now eyeing a move for Alonso. The 27-year-old defender is capable of playing as a winger as well and his versatility could come in handy for Madrid.
Thiago Alcantara is one of the most gifted midfielders in the world and he is flourishing at Bayern Munich at the moment. The 27-year-old gem is one of Julen Lopetegui’s most favorite players and the Madrid boss is looking to make a late move in order to bring Alcantara to the Santiago Bernabeu. Having allowed Mateo Kovacic to leave for Chelsea, Madrid could purchase Alcantara. The move for Alonso and Alcantara would be worth €60 million each which would add up to €120 million for the two combined.
I think that Real Madrid needs to make some quality signings before the summer window shuts. Hopefully, the transfer fee they received could be used for buying a world class attacker that can score goals in attack.
