Los Blancos’ superstar Isco has reportedly agreed to quit the La Liga champions if he is not offered more playing time amid serious interest from the Premier League.
The attacking midfielder has been sensational over the last two seasons for the European trophy winners but has reportedly found it frustrating this season as his roles have been limited by coming off the bench. Isco wasn’t even started during Madrid’s 3-0 defeat to fierce rivals Barcelona in the Classico, and the Spanish champions are now languishing in fourth place on the La Liga table.
And the trio of Premier League sides, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all huge admirers of the 25-year-old Isco who would be a stellar addition to any of the three English giants. Isco replaced the injured Gareth Bale last season and clinched as Madrid clinched the Champions League twice in a row including the La Liga title.
Isco has reportedly been unimpressed by Zidane, as the French boss has been underutilizing him, the former Malaga attacker has found it difficult to break into Madrid’s first team this term his boss preferring Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Cristiano Ronaldo over Isco. And Isco is ready to exit the Santiago Bernabeu by the end of the summer if his demands aren’t met for the remainder of the season.
The Spanish midfielder has stated that he will move to any club which would offer him regular football at their club. Having fallen down the pecking order, all that Isco is looking for is to cement a spot on any team even if it means leaving Real Madrid.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are favorites to land the Isco to the Etihad Stadium, although Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva will provide enough competition in the centre of the pitch for the Spanish midfield maestro
Huge statement by Isco, who could practically walk into the starting eleven of most teams on the planet, but it, will be intriguing to see where he would end up after the next summer transfer window. I believe that Zidane must be more attacking and drop one of the three defensive players, in the form of Modric, Casemiro or Kroos, to fit in Isco in the starting line-up.
