Porto’s promising Brazilian defense, Eder Militao, is the latest player to find himself on Real Madrid ‘s radar. The Brazilian continues to impress in Portuguese football. The ex- Sao Paolo star has drawn comparisons with Pepe for his courage, anticipation, style of play, and reading of the game. Having only arrived last summer, Militao has swiftly become an established member of Porto ‘s starting XI. Real Madrid representatives have watched the defender live in recent weeks. The scouting reports have been positive, with his personal and professional personality being praised. The Spanish giants have not made the best start to the season so could probably do with a top quality addition in defence.
The Express recently linked Militao as a player in the sights of the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City. It seems clear he could be a fine signing for a leading Premier League club. Should the European and world champions consider bidding, Porto hopes to open negotiations at 50 million euros. Since arriving in Europe, Militao has played 12 league games, five in the Champions League and another three in the cup. He made his senior international debut for Brazil in September 2018. Sergio Ramos is not getting any younger and will soon need replacing. While Raphael Varane has fallen down the pecking order slightly this term.

Given the likes of Nacho on the bench, Madrid at this moment should look for an attacker. Given the lackluster performance of the likes of Bale, Benzema and Asensio, Madrid should sign an attacker. Also, Modric seems to be getting old and they should look a replacement of him as well.
