Real Madrid want these two players if they fail to lure Neymar or Mbappe!

The Los Blancos believe they will sign these two Premier League players if they fail to lure Neymar or Mbappe.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus was the biggest eye-catching summer transfer move. Ronaldo’s move to Juventus created a massive void in attacking third for the reigning European Champions. Real Madrid were linked with the likes of Harry Kane, Icardi and Neymar. It seems they have alternative if they don’t sign Mbappe or Neymar. Madrid believes these 2 players can be convinced to join Bernabeu if they don’t sign PSG duo.

Guillem Balague says Madrid will turn to Christian Eriksen and Eden Hazard if they fail to sign at least Neymar or Mbappe. Neymar joined the Ligue 1 side in a world-record £200m deal back in 2017. While Mbappe followed the Brazilian on loan before completing a permanent switch worth around £125m back in the summer. Both men have since been linked with moves to Real, who are on the hunt for a new Galactico. And Balague insists they are holding back on moves for Eriksen and Hazard to see if they can convince either Mbappe or Neymar to join.

Balague said on The Guillem Balague Transfer Show, “The other one they want [as well as Hazard] of course is Christian Eriksen. Christian Eriksen, who is not renewing his contract with Spurs, is somebody that Real Madrid identify as a potential future [Luka] Modric and but I can tell you 100 per cent that they are both going to be two of the biggest targets this summer.” He also put more light on the current situation, Balague said, “But the reason why they’re not going full guns into this is because they’re still hoping that they can convince either Mbappe or Neymar to go to Real Madrid.”

“That is way away from actually being the beginning of anything. They’ve not even been able to talk to PSG, they won’t be able to talk to PSG. Right now they’re not negotiation anything at all.”

Author’s Take

It will be an interesting summer for Madrid. Madrid will sign any two of the above four mentioned player. However, Neymar and Hazard should be the one Los Blancos should sign. Hazard has been saying publicly his desire to play at Bernabeu. Neymar wants to return to Spain, so both the deals can be possible.
