Reality of Arsenal failure in signing Dominik Szoboszlai

Arsenal failed to sign Dominik Szoboszlai in the summer transfer window and now he is linked to other clubs instead of Arsenal.

Arsenal continuously turning to a losing side as they had lost almost four matches out of five previous matches. Recently in the quarterfinals of the Carabao cup, they lost with a 4-1 goal difference against Manchester City at Emirates stadium.

Though they had the better side on the paper some mistakes from the players as well as the club keeps them away from the victory. Therefore, they might need to change some tactics or the formation for the upcoming matches in the 2nd half of the season 2020-21.

Meanwhile, there was the rumor that Dominik Szoboszlai is heavily linked with the Emirates side. But they failed to do the deal with him during the summer transfer window due to high wages and transfer fees. Instead of a midfielder, they signed one defender from Atletico Madrid and a midfielder from Brazil.

Therefore, having a deal with Dominik Szoboszlai is still a dream of the North London side. As their performance worsened a lot due to a lack of combination between the players presented in the squad.

Arsenal was under confusion for signing Soboszlai

According to a report from Ornstein at Daily Express

, Arsenal is suffering from high pressure on them. So they didn’t want to have the risk of signing the highly-rated attacking midfielder. His wages and transfer will hit the Gunners financial books.

Another report from Football London clears that the club’s technical director Edu still has a dilemma about the player. He is unsure about his performance at English Premier League if arrives at the North London side.

Meanwhile, Ornstein said, “They need to start working on this squad in January, big time, then the next window of summer 2021 and beyond. Arteta and Edu need time to build this project, it will be on their shoulders that it either succeeds or fails.”

He also told that Arsenal looking for a player who will bring immediate impact on team performance after the arrival at Emirates side. Whereas, a youngster of RB Salzburg still working on his development day by day. Hence, he will not able to start every match after arrival at Emirates.

Henceforth, they need a replacement for Mesut Ozil because his contract is going to end soon. So the club looking to have one midfielder and left-wing and right-wing. Instead of Dominik Szoboszlai, they will look for other options.

Spanish duo on Arsenal priority transfer list

Report from Spain explained that Arsenal technical director Edu eyed bringing Spanish side duo on loan in the January transfer window. Both of them are the midfielders from Real Madrid. Namely, Rodrygo and Vinicius from the current squad.

Both of them are Zinedine Zidane’s squad members and listed for the long-term plan but they are heavily linked with Emirates for a loan move. Hence, after some time we will come to know about their transfer but they might bring impact to Arsenal if they arrive at Emirates.

Overall, Arsenal looking to have a drastic change in the second half of the football season. Because of club fans as well as officials keen to see home side at top-level once again. As they are not in the title race for a couple of years. So hope is from the January transfers which the club might do in the upcoming days.
