Manchester City lost their recent Premier League fixture to Crystal Palace and are four points behind the league leaders Liverpool.
The defending English Premier League champions look to sign Real Madrid and Spain midfielder Isco, who is having a tough time in the Spanish capital. Isco had played a big role in Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid and it has not been the case so far this season.
A move away from Real Madrid is on cards and there are numerous potential suitors for the Spanish International midfielder. According to reports in the AS, an agent, who acts on behalf of Manchester City, has contracted Isco’s entourage to inform about the interest Pep Guardiola’s side has on him.

Before Real Madrid signed Isco in 2013, there had been reports in the media that Manchester City had shown interest in signing Isco. However, a deal did not go through and the Spaniard ended up at Real Madrid. However, things have changed now and Isco too will likely be looking a move away.
If he joins Manchester City in England, it will be a massive boost for the Citizens in their pursuit of conquering Europe. City already have a host of world-class midfielders at their rank and the arrival of Isco will only further strengthen their squad.
However, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid will appreciate any such attempts from Manchester City’s side to sign one of their highly rated players.
Isco has not so far had a big role to play in Solari’s Real Madrid. Reports have also emerged that the Spanish midfielder has fallen out supporters and is not having a firm relationship with some of the senior players in the squad.

If Isco thinks he no longer has a future at Real Madrid, it is better he leaves. Isco is a world-class midfielder and he will not be short of suitors. If Real Madrid are willing to sell Isco, it will also help the defending UEFA Champions League winner raise funds to sign some other players, as well provide Isco with a platform to exhibit everything he could.
