A return to Anfield could be on!! Former Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard hints at LA Galaxy departure.

In the modern football where money plays a very important role it’s very rare for a player of great standards to stay at a club but there are certain players who came through the academy ranks of a certain football and rose to the heights of a legend and there are hardly any who are comparable in that sense to Steven Gerrard.

A boy who joined the Merseyside club at the age of 14 and since then rose through the ranks of the great football club and debuted for them at the age of 18 in 1998, becoming Liverpool’s captain in 2003. He racked up over 700 appearances for them and scored over 150 goals throughout his time with them.

Hailed as “one of our own” and “local lad” by the Kops, Steven Gerrard is one the most celebrated personalities at the Liverpool football club and also in the whole footballing world. No Liverpool supporter can ever forget the 2005 Champions League final night in Istanbul, the legend of Steven Gerrard surpassed every other Liverpool’s legends with his loyalty to the club even when big clubs with big bucks circled in to take him away from Liverpool.

He stood by Liverpool in the most perilous times, no trophies, nothing to compete against their firecrest rivals buy he didn’t switch his loyalties to move away from Anfield for glory, until 2015, when the turbulence hit the club new heights as he chose to part ways with the club that ran through his veins.

Gerrard left Liverpool to settle and enjoy his life in Los Angeles as he joined MLS side LA Galaxy. Since his move to the MLS side, he has made 30 odd appearances for them scoring 5 goals. But, in his recent Instagram post he gave away a hint that his move to Los Angeles might end much sooner. He thanked the LA Galaxy fans and said that they hold a special place in his heart and that he’d never forget his time at the MLS club.

Also with his cryptic post, he has again caused a hysteria among the Liverpool faithfuls who see this as his return to Anfield in some role under Jurgen Klopp, who has already kept his gates open for former Liverpool captain in some role under his management. Nothing can keep Steven Gerrard away from Liverpool for too long and he would take the chance to be involved at Anfield in some role with both hands open.

Liverpool seemed to be entering a new era under Klopp and they’ll look to restore their lost glory, this serves as a great occasion for the Liverpool legend to get back to his home and earn the glory that he couldn’t with his time with them as a player.
