Barcelona put on a real show at Camp Nou on Thursday as they ran the riots against Celta Vigo last night.
Philippe Coutinho was in attendance as Barcelona cruised into the quarter-finals with a 5-0 victory over Celta Vigo in the Round of 16 of Copa Del Rey. Lionel Messi was at his best again on Thursday as Barcelona put in a superb display versus Celta Vigo.
Coutinho is currently nursing a thigh injury that will prevent him for making hid Barcelona debut for close to three weeks, but the injury doesn’t prevent him from cheering his colleagues in the second leg of the Round of 16 of Copa Del Rey. The Argentine wizard scored twice in three minutes to give Barcelona a 2-0 lead and Jordi Alba and Luis Suarez registered their names on the scoresheet twice before halftime.
Ivan Rakitic added the fifth goal in the 87th minute as they completed the demolition. There were some jokes surrounding Barcelona that they don’t need Coutinho as they are performing extremely well without him.
How Coutinho Reacted To Messi’s Second Goal:
The Brazilian was watching the game in the VIP box alongside Rafinha. Coutinho burst into a smile and suddenly began to applaud as Messi scored his second goal of the evening.
