French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly monitoring Romelu Lukaku for a potential summer transfer. The Ligue 1 club could lose out on Kylian Mbappe and are hence looking to sign a replacement for the striker.
The Belgian has been a journeyman in his club career. But Lukaku is yet to play in Ligue 1. Hence this could be a move that could interest him in the summer. But a lot of factors would have to go the striker’s way as Paris Saint-Germain are also looking at other possible options.
In December, Romelu Lukaku had stated that he had made a mistake by leaving Inter Milan. The striker had stated that he hoped to return to the Serie A giants once again.
The 28-year-old striker scored 64 goals in 95 appearances for the Italian giants. To add to this, Lukaku played a key part in helping Inter Milan win the 2020/21 Serie A title.
But the striker’s departure did not please the Inter fans. The fans even left a banner after the striker’s interview stating that they didn’t want him back. Hence it has to be seen if Inter Milan would re-sign Romelu Lukaku if they get the opportunity.
Another rumour that is doing the rounds is the fact that Romelu Lukaku could end up at Tottenham Hotspur. The duo was decisive at Inter Milan before they both left the club in the summer.
As per reports, Harry Kane could leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. Hence Antonio Conte is reportedly looking to replace the striker with Lukaku. It has to be seen if the Belgian would be willing to move to Chelsea’s rivals in the summer.

Chelsea paid an astonishing £98 million to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan in the summer. The striker has since scored 12 goals in 36 appearances for the Blues.
Even though the striker is on the sidelines at the moment, we certainly think that he should stay at Chelsea next season. With a new owner taking over, a lot of things could change around the football club.
The Blues have also not made any indications about selling Romelu Lukaku in the summer. The striker certainly has the quality and if he scores goals in 2-3 consecutive games, Lukaku could certainly find his place back in the Chelsea starting XI.
