Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman surprised the Catalonia fans by his statement regarding the club youngsters existence.
Barcelona improving day by day as La Liga matches going on along with UCL games. Since the start of the season club was struggling to be in the title race of the Spanish league. But now they are back in the top 4 after the start of the new year.
In the previous match against Athletic Club, Barcelona pocketed it by the goal difference of 3-2. As visitors Barca were under pressure and host keep dominance on them because Athletic Club finds the net on the 3rd minute of the first half.
But Barcelona attacker Pedri brought the equaliser on the 14th minute of the game. After a couple of minutes skipper Lionel Messi brace up the teams lead and scored the impressive goal. Therefore, scoreline remains the same till the first half of the match.
Whereas, ace Messi again brings the 3rd goal for the Barcelona after the couple of minutes in the 2nd half. Domination from the Catalans continued till the end of the match but a small mistake from Barca players and help opponents to score 2nd goal on the last minute of the match. As a result, Barcelona won the match easily.
Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman expressed his views about the clubs youngsters. As winter transfer window going on and Barcelona star teenagers future is in danger. However, their managers statement shocked everyone.

Riqui Puig the best-attacking midfielder alongside of winger Ansu Fati had lots of questions on his appearance. He had got the chance after the departure of the Arthur Melo, Rakitic and Vidal but it was mostly temporary and failed to cement the place.
He made almost 12 appearances in the last season under the previous coach Quique Setien. Before then, he appeared in the three matches during the 2018/19 season. But it gets reversed in this season and fails to catch the Ronald Koeman eye.
As a result, he played only 79 minutes in total since the start of the season. Riqui Puig not even started the single games and instead played 5 matches as a substitute player. Hence, he get the more than his expectations i.e less playing minutes.
While speaking to Dario Sports Ronald Koeman said, “He [the club’s sporting director Ramon Planes] has already told the players that we do not predict will get much game-time that they would be better if they looked for another club.”
In the end, he concluded and told, “Without mentioning names, it would be better for some of them to go out and get minutes before returning. I have said since the summer: young players must play. They cannot spend a whole season not playing, that does not benefit anyone.”
Henceforth, will come to know about the Barcelona’s youngsters decision whether to shift them on loan or not after the presidential election. So it will depend on the newly elected presidents plan regarding the Catalonia’s development.
