RR VS KKR RESULT: 14 years ago, chasing down a 200+ score didn’t seem all that likely. It seemed a little far-fetched. However, IPL and T20 mercenaries have proven over time that practically any record in this format can be beaten.
And KKR was on the verge of doing just that. A 218-point aim necessitated unrelenting aggression. Finch set the tone, Iyer acted as a spark, and the rest of the cast did their jobs, albeit not really successfully.
The game had gotten away from Rajasthan Royals, for the most part, so they were relieved. It wasn’t enough to have a near-perfect batting performance. The difference was Chahal.
Before Umesh Yadav came out with a flying blade, he broke the back of the pursuit and almost killed it with four wickets in one over. With 11 outs to go, McCoy kept his cool and delivered the decisive punches in the last over.

With two wickets in the final over, Obed McCoy sealed the victory for RR. Jos Buttler hit his second century of the season, and his third overall, as Rajasthan Royals cruised to a massive 217/5 victory over Rajasthan Royals. Buttler hit 103 runs in 61 balls, including nine fours and five sixes.

Shreyas Iyer, the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders, won the toss and chose to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals.
RR VS KKR RESULT: Man Of The Match- Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal, the leg-spinner for Rajasthan Royals (RR), lit up the Brabourne Stadium on Sunday with a magnificent hat-trick in the final overs of the run chase against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Chahal came in to deliver the 17th over with Kolkata leading the chase of 218 runs at 178/4, taking four wickets and conceding only two runs to turn the game around.
“I had to take wickets in this match to change the result. Worked on my bowling. I spoke to the coaches and the skipper. I was thinking of a googly but then I didn’t want to take a chance. Would have been happy with a dot ball as well on my hat-trick ball. My googly was coming out well and sent it down to Venkatesh Iyer.” Yuzi Chahal.
He started by dismissing Venkatesh Iyer, who was stumped by Sanju Samson as he stepped down the track. The next wicket was that of Shreyas Iyer, who was batting on 85 and appeared to be on his way to leading KKR to victory.’
