Ryan Giggs desires a return to football coaching in the near future, but has resisted all the rumors linking him to Swansea, saying that the Swans have made no approach.

Reports from England have it, that Swansea manager, Francesco Guidolin may get the sack from the Swansea management after a disappointing start to this year’s Premier League campaign. The Swans have tasted defeat in three of their first five Premier League games this campaign and Guidolin is expected to be fired by the Swansea thinktank.

The most likely candidate for the coaching spot at Swansea would be Ryan Giggs, who understands the Premier League, having a 29-year association with Manchester United.

Nevertheless, the Welshman, who left Manchester United as an assistant manager this summer break, has argued that there has been no contact from Swansea City.

The 42-year-old, who was second to Louis van Gaal during his tenure at United, wishes a return to football coaching in the future, but is currently enjoying his time away from the game.

The Manchester United legend spoke to talkSPORT:

“There has been no approach from Swansea City but, in any case, there is a manager in place at the club.

“I’m happy with life outside of the game right now and enjoying media work.

“At some stage, further down the line, it’s no secret I’d like to get back into football as a coach – but that’s for later, not now.”

The Manchester United icon spent 27 years with the Red Devils as a player winning countless trophies in the process and will be a good coaching mind for any Premier League team.
