When the god of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, speaks everyone listens. The same happened on Instagram, where Sachin shared a video of a kid. The kid received a lot of praises from the master blaster and the other legends of the game.
Not much is known about the kid. However, the background has a few things written in Bengali. It signifies that the child might be from Bangladesh or West Bengal. The video had a significant amount of skill and passion. The child prodigy dribbled the ball a fair distance as the batters failed to counter him.
At his prime, Sachin was a nightmare for spinners around the world, including Shane Warne. India’s most prolific batting run machine, Sachin Tendulkar, was in awe of the young kid.
A bowling video has gone viral on the internet, and the netizens couldn’t stop praising this kid for his excellent bowling skills. Tendulkar lauded the efforts made by the toddler as he posted the video on his official Instagram account.
Rashid Khan Liked the Video Shared by Sachin Tendulkar
The post shared by Sachin also caught the attention of Rashid Khan. Khan is one of the best spinners in current times. He has taken away the challenge from his opponents with his bowling efforts on a number of occasions.
Rashid Khan commented on Sachin Tendulkar’s post with a “fire emoji – skills.” Interestingly, the child’s action was reminiscent of Rashid, who himself has made batters dance to his own tune.
In the Indian Premier League, Rashid Khan played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He picked 18 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 20.83, an economy of 6.69, and a strike rate of 18.66.
Rashid was the leading wicket-taker for the SRH. However, his performance couldn’t help the Hyderabad franchise as the team finished in the last position. SRH managed only three wins in 14 games.
Rashid will now be playing in the upcoming 2021 T20 World Cup in UAE for Afghanistan. They are in the Group 2, along with Pakistan, India, and New Zealand. The team will be playing their first game on 25th October against a team from Group B at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
The video caught the attention of the Mumbai Indians franchise as well. The five-time champions couldn’t recreate the magic of last year. However, the team’s official Instagram account celebrated the magic of the young prodigy. They left a comment on the post saying, “This boy is spinning our heads.” This year, MI failed to qualify for the playoffs and finished in the fifth position in the points table.
Brett Lee, the former Australian fast bowler, also left a comment on the post. He said, “The kid can play.” Brett Lee was one of the fastest bowlers of his time and is regarded as one of the greatest to play the game of cricket.
Ranveer Singh, the Bollywood actor, was also impressed with the bowling efforts of the kid. He wrote “Bamboozled” on Sachin Tendulkar’s post.
