The IPL game between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore had its best moments. The fascinating fixture turned out to be a visual treat to the fans across the world. Lokesh Rahul-led Kings XI Punjab defied the odds and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore.
In what appeared to be an easy-peasy run chase for KL Rahul’s team, they made the job a bit more complicated. They should have chased down the target earlier but they ended up putting more pressure on themselves by consuming more deliveries.
The game had nail-biting moments as it went on till the fag end of the innings. When one run was required off the last ball, Nicholas Pooran hit the winning runs for the team in the form of a huge six. Kings XI Punjab won the game by eight wickets in Dubai.
Kings XI Punjab earned only two victories in its ongoing campaign. Interestingly, those two wins came against Virat Kohli’s side. Currently, KXIP are languishing at the bottom of the IPL 2020 points table while RCB are placed third on the points table.
