Barcelona Star does not intend to leave this Summer

FC Barcelona have a plan in their mind to sell many players of their squad in the transfer market this summer to make way for the new signings. After the purchase of Dutch and Ajax Player Frenkie De Jong was secured, it was being believed that the CroatIan midfielder Ivan Rakitic will leave in the 2019 summer. Later, after a string of poor performances, the most expensive player in Barcelona history, Phillipe Coutinho also came in the exit radar.

If the Performances of Coutinho does not improve rapidly, he is quite sure to find himself out of Barca. But Rakitic has re-established himself as an important player in the Barca midfield, as neither he nor Valverde is thinking about his departure.

The latest player to come into the exit radar is the Barca centre back Samuel Umtiti. The 25-year-old has missed a huge portion of this season after the world cup owing to a knee injury. Umtiti went for conservative treatment to Doha instead of surgery that the club suggested, and this did not go well with the club hierarchy. Umtiti himself admitted that he put his injury in line in order to play the World Cup. Another major cause of the Frenchman’s possible exit is the rapid rise of Clement Lenglet. Lenglet has been outstanding in Umtiti’s absence and is one for the future, and with the possible arrival of Mathijs De Ligt, Barcelona are trying to drive some massive revenue.

Samuel Umtiti on the other end does not have any will or intentions of leaving the Camp Nou. One of the main reasons for this is the amount of success he has enjoyed playing for the Blaugrana side and he believes he will soon reclaim the no. 1 spot once he regains his full fitness. Umtiti is currently 25 years of age, and he believes he will be the No. 1 defender for Barcelona for some years to come.
