Maurizio Sarri has urged his player to follow his instruction more to get better out of every player on the field.
The Italian tactician wants his player to support Italian midfielder more to get better out of him which is missing in his gameplay for Chelsea.
The Blues recovered from their humiliating defeat against Bournemouth with a devastating 5-0 win on the weekend over Huddersfield with Sarri saying’ Sarri-Ball’ is starting to click for the team.
Jorginho is the central figure for his ideas to take place but the other players starting to feel that Sarri is too reliant on the Italian midfielder whom he bought with him from Naples.
Sarri still feels high of Jorginho and said that the midfielder is stronger against Huddersfield. He said, “Jorginho needs movement without the ball from other players because he’s used to playing at one touch”.
It’s very difficult to play one touch without the movement of the other players. If the team like in the first 25, 30 minutes played very well and we have movements without the ball, it’s easier I think.
Maurizio Sarri goes on to add for the midfielder even more. He added, ‘I think that in the first 25 minutes we played our football. We moved the ball very fast, very well, there was a good movement without the ball.’
‘We were really very dangerous, we didn’t play back to the opposition goal like in the last match with five players sometimes. We attacked the spaces and so I think we played our football.
‘Jorginho played very well. I put [Mateo] Kovacic on the pitch after the fourth goal because Jorginho had a little problem to his groin. This is the only reason because, in my opinion, Jorginho played a very good match.’
Jorginho is a world class player and the manager faith in him is justified as he has shown his quality number of times with Napoli.
Chelsea need to work around him to become a strong team to compete for the premier league title as he have the potential to provide that kind of push for the team to be the best.
