Sergej Milinković-Savić transfer news: The Serbia international is currently among the most in-demand midfielders in Europe.
Savic has established himself as among the most talented midfielders in Europe since arriving at Lazio from Genk in 2015. He has played 234 league games in the Serie A games so far, scoring 48 goals.
The 27-year-old midfielder helped the Eagles win 2018-19’s Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana. He won Seria A’s Best Midfielder award in 2018-19 and was also included in the Serie A Team of the Season 2018-19.
Savic is also the star performer of the Serbian national team. He has scored five goals in 34 appearances for his nation so far.

The Serbia international’s agent Mateja Kezman has revealed that the midfielder will stay with the Eagles this season.
Speaking to CorSport (via Fabrizio Romano), he said: “The decision has been made: he will stay at Lazio this summer”. Savic has been linked with a move away from Stadio Olimpico in recent weeks. Manchester United are among the clubs who have shown interest in securing his services.
Lazio, however, are reluctant to sell Serbia international. They have reportedly slapped a €100 million price on him to fend off interest in him.

Valued at £63 million by TransferMarkt, Savic is a technically strong footballer, who plays his best football when deployed as an attacking midfielder. His key strengths are his concentration and aerial skills, along with his ability to find his teammates in key goalscoring positions.
The Serbia international is also an accomplished free-kick taker and has scored seven goals from a direct free-kick so far.
He played 37 league games last term, registering 11 goals and 11 assists. Savic has also started the current season brightly and has already bagged two assists in three league appearances.
According to WhoScored, he averaged two shots, 1.4 key passes, 2.3 aerial duels and 1.4 dribbles in the league this season. He also boasts a passing accuracy of 70.7 per cent in Serie A.

Lazio are currently third in the league table, with seven points from three games. They will next go up against Sampdoria in Serie A before locking horns against Feyenoord on September 9. Savic is expected to play a key role in both games.
