Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has questioned James Rodriguez’s statements about leaving the club.
James Rodriguez in an interview has said that he has no assurances about staying at Real Madrid. He also said he is happy at Real Madrid but may need to look at other options also.
The Colombian has been a constant benchwarmer for Real Madrid since the arrival of Zinedine Zidane as manager. He was an unused substitute in Real’s 4-2 win over Kashima Antlers. It is no doubt that he has has struggled for regular action since an impressive first season in Madrid in 2014/15.

James said “I’m happy here, but I want to play more.”
“I want to stay at Madrid forever. But you have to think about everything and look at your options. I have offers and I’ve got seven days to think about it.”
As per the latest rumours, many other major clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea have shown interests in signing this creative playmaker. It is very much clear that James have to move away from Santiago Bernabeu, if he want to satisfy the expectations of many.
But club captain Sergio Ramos wasn’t pleased to hear these comments, as he has come out to criticize James Rodriguez. Ramos said it wasn’t the ideal time to talk about transfer or personal issues.
