Shocking: Brazilian Superstar is not joining Liverpool!

Some reports may have stated otherwise but it looks like the Brazilian forward is not joining Liverpool.

Richarlison has been one of Everton’s best performers ever since he made the switch to the Merseyside club. The Brazilian has been in impressive form for the Toffees upfront and has bagged 13 goals this season, the most by any Everton player this season.

There have reports and rumours that arch-rivals Liverpool are interested in signing the Everton forward. Reports even suggested that Renato Velasco, one of the agents of the Brazilian forward, had a meeting with Jurgen Klopp, the coach of Liverpool.

It has been reported that many clubs have shown interest in signing the 21 year old young forward which includes some of Europe’s top clubs.

However, reports in the Liverpool Echo suggest otherwise and have claimed that Everton officials laughed off at the idea of selling their top marksman to their biggest rivals.

Everton coach Marco Silva has also made similar comments. He, at his pre-match conference, said, “I have to smile .This speculation is not important to talk about. Just to smile. Richarlison is our player and he is really happy here. I am 100% sure he will keep learning and improving in the next few seasons.”

Earlier, Richarlison had hinted that he is happy at Everton in his social media post. He posted two photos of him celebrating goals for the Merseyside club on Twitter with the caption, “I’m happy”

Although all these hint that the player might well stay at Everton, it is still too early to deliver a verdict. Will the player, highly rated by many big clubs, remain at Everton or will he seek a move away? It remains to be seen.

Author’s Take

The comments made by Marco Silva and Richarlison’s twitter post hint that he is happy at Everton and is not considering a move away in search of greener pastures.

It must also be said that Kia Joorabchian, another agent of Richarlison, enjoys a close relationship with Everton’s chairman Bill Kenwright. Everton are currently 10th in the Premier League points table and the focus of the team and Richarlison will be in helping the team finish on a higher note.
