Liverpool Talisman Mohamed Salah will prefer a move to Barcelona over Real Madrid, according to the bookies.
The Egyptian has been in a phenomenal form this season, netting 28 goals in all competitions. Liverpool will now face a battle to keep Mohamed Salah out of Barcelona or Real Madrid’s clutches if he continues his staggering form. When manager Jurgen Klopp’s £34.3m summer signing from Roma scored his first goals against Tottenham, he became the fastest Liverpool player to reach 20 Premier League goals.
The Egyptian achieved this feat it in 25 games, two games quicker than Fernando Torres and Daniel Sturridge. The 25-year-old has had a huge impact on Liverpool’s campaign this term since arriving at Anfield, has shown grit and determination to become one of the greatest of all times.
Now after joining Liverpool and performing so well, speculations regarding Egyptian’s next career move has gathered pace in the past few days, with some news outlets suggesting that Madrid and Barcelona are ready to pounce on him as early this summer. While Madrid is favorites to sign the Egyptian if he leaves Liverpool, BetStars claims that the 25-year-old would prefer a move to Camp Nou in order to reunite with his friend Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho left Liverpool last month in order to join Barcelona in a huge €160 Million transfer deal. When quizzed about Salah’s next career move, BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “Liverpool’s mercurial forward Mo Salah has caught the attention of Real Madrid this season and Los Blancos are the 3/1 favorites to make Salah their latest Galactico.
The Egyptian has bagged 23 goals in the league so far this campaign and could be the perfect signing for Real. Barcelona are the joint second-favorites for the 25-year-old’s signature and are priced at 5/1 to be Salah’s next club. A move to the Catalan club may be preferable for Salah as it would see him reunited with former team-mate Philippe Coutinho.
Barca are already negotiating with Salah's agent to bring him to the Camp Nou this summer and is ready to fight Real Madrid for his signature. His deal would cost 200 million pounds and Barca is ready to pay given that Greizmann to Barca deal is already completed. [Express UK] pic.twitter.com/7ajefpTtb5

Speaking about Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich’s chance of signing the player, Marmion said: “PSG are also in the running for the speedy forward and are also priced at 5/1 to be the Liverpool player’s next club.
The Paris side is dominating Ligue 1 but they may seek to get reinforcements in order to be the frontrunners for the Champions League. Bayern Munich stands an outside chance of signing Salah and are priced at 14/1.”
Mohamed Salah will be hoping to continue his fine form when Liverpool takes on Southampton on Sunday. The Reds currently sit third in the points table, a point ahead of Chelsea and two of Tottenham as the race for top four finish intensifies. Liverpool is a massive 18 points behind of Manchester City in the points table.
Yeah, I personally agree with what Marmion had to say. The Egyptian will surely prefer a move to Barcelona in order to play with his former teammate Philippe Coutinho, joined Barca last month. As there are many clubs behind the player, let’s see what future holds for him.
