SL vs AUS: Sri Lanka are hosting Australia in the first match on Wednesday, June 29. Moreover, the game is taking place at Galle International Cricket Stadium in Galle, Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka are coming into this fixture after losing against Australia in the fifth ODI on Friday. Sri Lanka went on to win the toss and they decided to have a bat first.

The Lankans were all out for just 160 runs in 44 overs. It was a poor batting display from them. Australia chased down the target in the 40th over and they won the game by four wickets.

However, Sri Lanka went on to win the five match ODI series against Australia. They won it by 3-2 and this is also their first home series win against Australia in a long time.

Kusal Mendis went on to win the man of the series award for his display against the Aussies. He scored 249 runs in the five match ODI series.

Sri Lanka could not put up a fine display with the bat on the first day of the first test match. The Lankans won the toss and they decided to bat first, however, they were all out for just 212 runs.

Pat Cummins went on to launch a massive six on day two. Moreover, the ball landed outside the stadium. It landed on a road which is just outside the stadium.
