Neymar has signed a deal with Qatari National Bank to become their new brand ambassador and it effectively ends any hope that clubs had of signing him from PSG.
The Brazilian playmaker cost PSG a whopping 200 million pounds when he moved from Barcelona in 2017 but, there were rumours spreading about him moving back to La Liga in the next summer window. Now after the agreement has been signed his relationship with both PGS and Qatar have greatly strengthened.
Qatar National Bank said in an official statement that : “The agreement grants QNB all exclusive marketing rights of Neymar Jr as a Brand Ambassador of all the Group’ s marketing campaigns and advertising platforms in which he will appear across its major businesses and help to provide its global community of customers around the globe with its best Banking Products” with its aim of becoming the largest bank in Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia in near future.
Neymar has total followers of around 209 million across all the social media platform which will really benefit QNB as his social presence will help them bring more customers.
Neymar Jr left Barcelona in 2017 in the attempt to be the leading man for Paris Saint Germain and after been overshadowed by Messi in Barcelona. Neymar’s attempt of being the Leading man for PSG has not failed as he has scored 11 goals and 5 assist for PSG in Ligue1 this term and if he continues in this fashion he could soon be a real contender for the Ballon’Or.
Paris Saint Germain are really happy after the Brazilian signed the contract with QNB as it gives them a firm hold on the player for the near future.
This arguably could be the end of the rumours surrounding Neymar Jr back to La Liga as his loyalty towards PSG is clearly seen. The agreement between Neymar and QNB has surely given PSG the upper hand in securely keeping him in Ligue 1.
