Star Sends touching message to fans on Twitter

Liverpool is in tremendous pressure after a series of draws in their recent games which could cost them the title with Manchester City taking the top spot.

Liverpool let go of their hold on the top spot to the defending champions Manchester City after their goalless draw against Everton on the weekend. The Reds are now one point behind the league leaders and will be looking to mount the pressure on City with the win in the coming game.

The Reds remains positive despite the slip-off and is looking to win the title this season with 9 games still remaining in the season. Liverpool will host Burnley in their next game of the league at Anfield before their game against Munich in the champions league.

Sean Dyche’s Burnley is a strong opponent to reckon with and Liverpool can’t afford to lose any more points if they want to win the Premier League this season. Burnley lost only a single game in 2019.

Midfilder Georginio Wijnaldum sends a tweet to the Liverpool fans assuring them that they will fight till the end for the title this season.

Wijnaldum joined Liverpool in 2016 for the cost of 25 million euros already became one of the most important player for the Liverpool side having made 33 appearances for them this season, including 24 starts for them.

The Reds will be looking for their front trio to score more goals for them and find their form as soon as possible if Liverpool has to go for the title against Manchester City. Liverpool next game after Burnley is against Bayern Munich for the place in quarterfinals of Champions League.

Liverpool is going to have a hard time regaining the top spot in the premier league from the defending champions Manchester City. The Blues is in terrific form in the recent games and is highly unlikely to drop a point before the end of the season.

The Reds needs to win all of the remaining matches to be able to win the league title this season. The message from the midfielder shows their desire to win the league for themselves and for the supporting fans for such a long time.
