Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has confirmed that he is close to signing a new deal with Chelsea alongside teammate Thibaut Courtois.
Hazard has pledged his future to the London side and will sign a new contract for the Blues. The Belgium International also went on to say that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will be signing a new deal as well.
The Belgium International was part of NBA London alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Benjamin Mendy where he revealed his contract status to Mirror Football.
The recently turned 27-year-old was heavily linked towards a move to Real Madrid with the winger’s father confirming the same.
Los Blancos were also rumoured to be eyeing the Belgium goalkeeper as a replacement for Keylor Navas.

Hazard was asked at the O2 arena about his contract situation and the reply was:
“Yes, I think Thibaut first. Then I will sign.”
Hazard has been a vital addition to the blues ever since his transfer from LOSC Lille and played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s title wins in the previous three years.
Despite having 2 years left in the winger’s contract, the London side wanted to secure the future of the star to avoid a situation currently being faced by Arsenal over Alexis Sanchez.
Apart from Real Madrid, Manchester United was keen on signing the 27-year-old to solve their winger woes. Hazard has scored 9 goals and set up 8 goals for his teammates so far this season.
To top all of it, Hazard was named in the UEFA Champions League team of the year, a few days back.
Chelsea has been on a run to secure their players’ future with the club, with young defender Andreas Christensen signing a long-term contract with the West London side.
The news would be a huge relief for the Chelsea supporters who have been hanging by the thread over the thought of losing their two stars. With Chelsea’s current run in this season so far, they need the Belgian duo more than ever to secure any silverware this season.
