T20 WC 2022: Team India won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007. The Men in Blue made it all the way to the final and defeated Pakistan to win their maiden title in South Africa.
However, since then, they failed to make a bid for the second title. The last time they came too close to winning the title was back in the 2014 edition.
The Men in Blue surrendered at the hands of Sri Lanka in the final. However, with plenty of resources this time around and with all the bases covered, they should be looking to make a bid for the second title.
The all-important tournament will be held in Australia. The tournament will kick off from October 16 onwards and it comes to a close on November 13.
Australia are the defending champions of the tournament. The Men in Yellow beat the Black Caps in the final to win their maiden T20 World Cup accolade.
Moreover, most of the top teams have a well-balanced squad. As a result, we can expect one heck of a competition this time around in Australia.
