T20 World Cup 2022: The BCCI has decided not to send Umran Malik to Australia as a net bowler for the T20 World Cup due to a delay in the issuance of Australian visas, according to a report by the Indian Express.
The pair has been requested to participate in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, according to the report. Indian pacers have had plenty of opportunities in the Indian Premier League, and Umran Malik was one of the tournament’s top quick bowlers in its most recent iteration.
The youthful player, who is currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad, dazzled spectators with his quick bowling and impressed many former cricketers. His inclusion in the starting XI for the T20 World Cup has also received support from other previous cricket players.
Who believes he will leave his mark on Australian fields? In the months leading up to the T20 World Cup, Malik was selected as an Indian team net bowler, working with another promising pacer named Kuldeep Sen.
Additionally named as net bowlers, Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary will travel to Australia for the main competition. However, a report by the Indian Express claims that due to a delay in the issuance of their visas, Malik and Sen will be unable to board the flight to Australia.
