T20 World Cup 2022: India’s prolific all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who is known for his three-dimensional abilities has been ruled out of the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup.
The marquee event will kick off in Australia from October 16 onwards. It will come to a close on November 13. Meanwhile, India haven’t won an ICC trophy for a long time now.
The last time when the Men in Blue won the ICC trophy was back in 2013 when India beat England to win the ICC Champions Trophy under MS Dhoni’s captaincy.
Since then, the Indians failed to bring the best out of themselves in the multi-nation tournaments. They will be looking forward to ending the ICC trophy drought by putting on a show in the upcoming tournament.

However, they were dealt a big blow to their hopes after productive all-rounder Jadeja has been ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.
In fact, fans were indeed surprised to know how the all-rounder picked up an injury. Jadeja was last seen playing for India against Pakistan in the Asia Cup tournament.

The all-rounder also scored a crucial 35 in the run-chase. India beat Pakistan by 5 wickets at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
After that, he was ruled out of the Asia Cup with a right knee injury. He was under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. Axar Patel has replaced the star all-rounder in Asia Cup.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is angry with the all-rounder because of the way he got injured.
As reported by TOI, the BCCI officials are absolutely fuming over how the all-rounder’s injury could have been avoided. He accidentally slipped from the ski-board.
As a result, he twisted his knee badly. “He had to balance himself on some kind of a ski-board as part of an adventure activity – not part of the training manual at all.
“It was absolutely unnecessary. He slipped and twisted his knee badly, which led to a surgery,” a BCCI source informed the Times of India today.
