His style of batting is pretty much the same as AB de Villiers’ batting. He is known for his ability to play a wide range of shots. This is precisely the reason why the youngster is famously called “Baby AB”.

He has played seven games for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Although he didn’t bring the best out of himself, he did impress the fans with some extraordinary batting skills.

Temba Bavuma makes a shocking remark on Dewald Brevis
Meanwhile, South African Test captain Temba Bavuma made a shocking comment on youngster Dewald Brevis. When everyone expected the youngster would get a chance to get into the national set-up, Bavuma things otherwise.
The veteran cricketer praised Dewald Brevis for his batting in IPL. However, at the same time, he remarked that he won’t be rushed into the South African cricket team.
Bavuma added that the youngster should play more first class games before getting into the senior team. His statement on the uncapped South African youngster went viral on social media.
“Brevis is an exciting prospect and had a good season in IPL. But you have to understand that he has not played any four-day game or First Class matches in South Africa. He needs to play a few First Class games,” Temba Bavuma said.
“Without First Class experience, it will be unfair to throw him into international cricket. We have to tread carefully and ease him into international cricket,” Bavuma said.
