A.S Roma Turkish winger could ideally suit Klopp’s setup at Anfield…….How?
The 21-year-old Turkish winger has been in a fine form this season for Roma, chalking up six goals and nine assists in 25 appearances in all competitions. He became a Roma player for a €13.4 million fee. He is also the youngest Turkish player ever to score in the Champions League.
He can play anywhere along the front-line, and his direct and energetic style of play makes him ideally suited to Klopp’s setup at Anfield. Moreover, Liverpool play with an incredibly high tempo, and they rely on pacey forwards to implement their counter attacking style.
Creative and industrious, the 21-year-old is also a fantastic dribbler and is adept at working the channels in the final third with his rapid and incisive passing. The Turkish hotshot has tremendous pace and is also coming up with the end product at Roma on a regular basis. Under’s positional awareness and maturity simply belie his age. Furthermore, the 21-year-old is a very good crosser of the ball from the flanks.
Jürgen Klopp has one of the most dangerous attacking line-ups in the world of football, but it could be argued that the German needs to add more quality to his wide attacking department, with more competition required for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. And Cengiz Under could be just the lottery ticket for the Reds.
Roma will be willing to sell Cengiz Under in the summer, if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season, and Liverpool should be taking a look at the young winger. The Turkey international is valued at around £50 million, so Liverpool should not have any problem matching that price.
Should Klopp bring Cengiz Under to Anfield, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Reds. As his energetic style of play suits best to klopp’s setup. Liverpool will add more strength to the attacking department by signing the Roma’s ace this summer. Under would fit right in with the Reds, he would provide Klopp with another top class option in attack.
