Belgium international says he has never felt so good at Chelsea since moving to the club. Courtois has been in fine form and is one of the best players for Chelsea this season. He has played his part in Chelsea’s Premier League title race by keeping 13 clean sheets.

The 24 year old joined Chelsea from Genk in 2011, and within week, Courtois was sent on loan to Atlético Madrid. During his three year loan-spell at Atletico, he won the La Liga and UEFA Europa League.

He himself emerged as one of the best young goalkeepers in the world, and was recalled to Chelsea in 2014. Since then he has been the main man at Chelsea’s back and has been a crucial player for the club.

In his third season with Chelsea, Courtois admits that he is enjoying his time at Stamford  Bridge. Courtois said: “I have never felt so good since I arrived in Chelsea. On the field, I am good, I make the decisive stops when it is necessary.

“Sometimes I have just one or two to do. Against Hull, it was a little more at the weekend.”

“But otherwise, I try to always be ready to help the team. My game has also improved a lot in the last two seasons. I sometimes have a few moments that are very difficult to manage but I’m doing well. I feel very confident right now.”

He also said “I like that we are asked to attack the ball and go forwards in any circumstances. There’s a good atmosphere in the group. Lots of jokes and banter but we work hard and we enjoy it.”

Since the last summer, Courtois has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. Manchester United’s David De Gea and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois are considered to be the primary transfer target for Real Madrid. But Courtois insists that he is very happy at Chelsea and doesn’t want to move away from Stamford Bridge.
