This Premier League Superstar Has The Talent To Play For Real Madrid, Says Mourinho!

Former Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Manchester United earlier this season, has his say on this Premier League superstar joining his former employers.

The future of Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard remains uncertain and has become a topic of more significance especially after Chelsea were handed a transfer ban by FIFA.

Hazard’s ambition of playing for Real Madrid is no secret and it has been widely reported that the Belgian International will leave the English Premier League outfit this summer transfer window.

Former Real Madrid and Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has said that Eden Hazard has the talent and personaility to succeed at one of the biggest clubs in World Cup.

“Does he have the talent to play for Real Madrid? He does. Does he have the personality to put on a ‘super-heavy’ shirt and play in front of the fans at the Bernabeu? Yes, he has the personality,” Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Manchester United earlier this season, sports streaming service DAZN Espana.

“Regarding Eden’s ambitions… be it playing for Chelsea his whole life or playing for a giant like Real Madrid, I can’t say, because I haven’t spoken to him for a long time.” added Jose Mourinho.

Eden Hazard is unlikely to renew his current contract with Chelsea and his current contract expires in 2020. If Chelsea fails to renew his contract and a move to Real Madrid does not materialise, Hazard will be free to leave the club in June, 2020.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were handed another defeat by Manchester City yesterday to win the Carabao Cup. Hazard, deployed as No.9 by Sarri whose tenure at Chelsea seems to have reached its end, played really well against a side that had trounced them a fortnight ago.

Author’s Take

Eden Hazard had earlier said French Radio Station RMC that he had made a decision and said will announce his decision at the right moment. It is presumed that Real Madrid is his preferred destination. With Chelsea handed a transfer ban by FIFA, things have become more complicated than before, to say the least.

Will Hazard leave Chelsea to join the greener pastures at Real Madrid? or will Chelsea manage to convince their superstar? Only time will tell.
